Linguaculturological Characteristics Of Lexemes Expressing The Concept Of “Taste” (In English And Uzbek Languages)

Abstract

This article presents the linguoculturological features of lexemes expressing the concept of “taste” (ta’m-maza) in English and Uzbek languages. It is stated that some of the prototypes of sweet taste in English and Uzbek languages do not correspond to each other, which is an expression of the dissimilar worldviews of English and Uzbek linguists.
