Problems In Cognitive-Linguistic Interpretation Of Gender Asymmetry Phenomena In Language
Abstract
This article analyzes the problems of cognitive-linguistic interpretation of gender asymmetry phenomena in language. The research examines the disproportionate representation of gender categories in language systems and their relationship with cognitive mechanisms. The article discusses manifestations of gender asymmetry in various languages, their cognitive foundations, and interpretational problems in contemporary linguistic theories. The study is based on literature review methodology and reveals the role of gender asymmetry in complex relationships between language and thought.
