In modern education systems, formative assessment is recognized as a key factor in improving learning outcomes, enhancing student engagement, and supporting continuous feedback-based instruction. The study analyzes the theoretical foundations of formative assessment competence and explores its role in designing an effective technological model for teacher development. Special attention is given to the structural components of this technology, including cognitive, diagnostic, operational, and reflective dimensions. The research substantiates the importance of integrating formative assessment technologies to ensure effective instructional decision-making and continuous improvement of teaching practice. Based on theoretical analysis, a structured technological framework is proposed for developing formative assessment competence in educators.
