Cardiovascular diseases composite index inflammation

Albumin and albumin measuring based composite indices hold important clinical significance for patients who have cardiovascular disease. The study investigated the dynamics of indices that were calculated from complete blood count parameters and serum albumin levels throughout the treatment period. The results demonstrated that the improvements in albumin and the Prognostic Nutritional Index (PNI) values, along with the reduction in Systemic Immune-Inflammation Index (SII) values at the end of treatment represented lower levels of inflammatory activity and restoration of metabolic status for patients. The developed Dynamic Recovery Composite Index (DRCI) demonstrated a strong correlation with metabolic changes. The DRCI also proved to be a very effective measure of treatment effectiveness and a reliable predictor of disease progression. The data indicate that albumin and composite indices provide a valid mechanism for monitoring patient status and for predicting clinical outcomes for patients with cardiovascular diseases.
