Helicobacter pylori children iron deficiency anemia

This article is devoted to the study of the extragastric clinical and laboratory features of Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection in school-age children. The aim of the study was to identify extragastric changes associated with H. pylori. During the study, the clinical signs and laboratory parameters of children were analyzed.

The results showed that iron deficiency anemia, allergic reactions, and changes in the immune system were more common in children with H. pylori infection. In some cases, the disease was found to proceed with hidden or mildly expressed symptoms. H. pylori infection affects not only the gastrointestinal tract but also other organs and systems in children, which requires early detection and a comprehensive diagnostic approach.
