This article is dedicated to the literary and historical analysis of the novel  "The Scorpion from the Altar." It examines the system of characters, plot and genre features, as well as the author's style and the cultural context of the novel. The research reveals the author's creative style and attitude towards the events of the time, highlighting the relevance of its themes and characters in contemporary society.
