The rapid digital transformation of financial systems has significantly increased dependence on computing infrastructures, accounting information systems, cloud platforms, and interconnected enterprise applications. While these technologies improve financial decision-making, operational efficiency, and information accessibility, they also introduce sophisticated cybersecurity risks. Financial computing environments are particularly vulnerable because they manage high-value information, including transactional data, customer records, accounting information, and strategic business intelligence. Conventional security mechanisms based on static rules and periodic assessments are increasingly inadequate for detecting rapidly evolving intrusion activities. This research proposes a Smart Protection Architecture for Real-Time Intrusion Recognition in Financial Computing Environments, integrating artificial intelligence-driven analysis, continuous monitoring, intelligent feature extraction, and adaptive security response mechanisms.

The proposed architecture is conceptually developed through synthesis of financial information management principles, intelligent cybersecurity approaches, and enterprise information system security requirements. Financial information systems require reliable protection mechanisms because data accuracy, confidentiality, and availability directly influence organizational performance. Studies on financial information management demonstrate that modern enterprises increasingly depend on structured information systems for financial operations and strategic decisions (Akimova et al., 2020). However, increasing digital dependency also creates opportunities for cyber attackers to exploit vulnerabilities in financial computing infrastructures.

The proposed smart protection architecture consists of multiple functional layers, including real-time data acquisition, intrusion feature analysis, threat classification, risk-based decision processing, and adaptive response control. Artificial intelligence plays a central role by enabling automated recognition of suspicious activities through analysis of large-scale security events. Recent research on AI-driven security models highlights the effectiveness of optimal feature analysis and continuous threat detection mechanisms for enterprise cloud financial platforms (Kubam et al., 2025). Such approaches provide important foundations for developing intelligent intrusion recognition systems capable of operating in dynamic financial environments.

This research examines how smart protection architectures can improve intrusion recognition accuracy, reduce detection delays, and strengthen financial system resilience. The methodology focuses on designing an integrated security framework that combines computational intelligence with financial information system requirements. Findings indicate that intelligent monitoring approaches provide significant advantages over traditional security methods by enabling proactive identification of abnormal behaviors and supporting faster security responses.
